Wow! After all I got a weblog from where I be able to really get
valuable information concerning my study and knowledge.
Great! So glad we could help!
So, After all these efforts over a full week… just two comments… Sandy, something has to be changed…. IBM is n0t seen as leading entrepreneurship nowadays… take action!
Actually … the blog has a lot of readers but we Tweet links to the blog and our comments come in Twitter .. we had over 3000 tweets, and 7.4M impressions! I’d love to know what else you think we should do ! I am OPEN!!
Actually, there is a lot that can be done!! and I’ll never be able to cover all of it in one short post… I’ll be happy to have a call to explain… I followed the tweets… most of them were IBMers tweets and not originated by the entrepreneurs communities. It’s really hurting to see how IBM both here in Israel, at the Silicon Vally and other innovative centres lost its leadership… however, in short, the best advice I can give you is to rebuild the pension for innovative ideas sourced from the start-up community… to generate a set of REAL VALUES for early stage, as Google and Microsoft are doing through their chain of “Campuses” and “accelerators” (the IBM IICs are not considered any more as a value), to attract HIGLY QUALIFIED mentors for the mentors days (and not the second tier).
It’s actually going back to the early days of Buell Duncan at IDR who was a real innovator and leader. You can also explore the original business model of the GTU which is until now considered as a winning model (it’s original model – not the way it’s opperaring today).
Be sure that this criticism is coming from a positive place…
Best, Gabriel
