Gearing up for the “360Fashion and Tech Innovation Awards” in San Francisco November 3rd

Have you ever thought about deeper ways to create brand engagement, and get your customers to really experience your product?
In today’s technology driven world, there is no shortage of startups that have managed to magnify that moment of engagement using a multisensory, technology driven approach. One unique industry that has captured this form of multisensory innovation quite well is the fashion industry.
That’s why we’ve partnered with the 360Fashion Network, an international fashion technology company, to present the “360Fashion and Technology Innovation Awards” in San Francisco on November 3rd: https://ibm.biz/BdHxyF. Together we’ll spend the evening showcasing startup innovation in San Francisco through the lens of fashion.
  360Fashion Main Invite Tile
We’ll bring together top leaders from the worlds of technology, startups and fashion to show how the three interrelate, while connecting attending startups with early adopters, retailers and influencers to help them be successful in their unique, technology driven approaches to business.
The event will feature top global leaders who are paving the way in startup innovation, an exhibition, awards ceremony, and demonstrations from wearable tech companies, fashion startups and international apparel designers.
View the full agenda here and register to attend, it’s free: https://ibm.biz/BdHxyF.

IBM@JavaOne 2015: Meeting the needs of the modern enterprise with Java in the Cloud!

Java?   yes Java!
The Java™ platform has been critical for us here at IBM for almost two decades and continues to be as we move deeper into the era of cloud, mobile, and cognitive computing, all of which are key themes in this year's JavaOne conference happening this week today through Thursday!
java
IBM embraced the Java programming language beginning 20 years ago. As Java grew into a large-scale enterprise platform, IBM was in lock-step, building its extensive middleware suite on this innovative and versatile technology to support not only a wide array of customers in disparate industries, but also powering its own development.
Java is critical to IBM, even moreso as we find ourselves at the beginning of a new era with cloud, mobile, and cognitive computing leading the way.
It's no surprise, then, that IBM is again a Diamond sponsor at this year's JavaOne conference, supporting and endorsing the platform that continues to shape its and others' innovation in the enterprise.
Here’s an overview of some of  IBM's activities during JavaOne 2015.
