AI search, agentic commerce and the new customer
From the host of The AI Marketing Companion podcast. How AI search, shopping agents and the creator economy are rewriting the marketing playbook, and what to do with your next marketing dollar.
Sandy has been rewriting the rules of marketing since she wrote The New Language of Marketing 2.0 at IBM. Since January 2026 she has hosted The AI Marketing Companion, carrying forward a show with 13 years and more than 350 episodes behind it.
In this keynote she shows how customers now find brands through AI answers instead of search results, why shopping agents are becoming a new kind of customer, and how budgets are shifting toward creators and AI. Marketers leave with a playbook for staying visible and trusted when the first reader of their content is often a machine.
Before the event, several people told me what an awesome speaker she was, so my expectations were high. But Sandy knocked it out of the park: she was brilliant, funny, insightful, and gave a masterful presentation. My only regret was that I didn’t give her a bigger slot!
